Super Bowl or Bust?

Super Bowl or Bust?

That is the word in Cowboy land they and most sports talking heads feel that they are fully loaded now. For Jason AKA the Clapper this is a contract year, so it is win Big Now or Adios Muchacho! So, what does that mean NFC Championship appearance, Super Bowl appearance.

“They just paid a boatload of money to the league rushing champ (Zeke) they have Cooper at wideout along with a couple of others that can get you big plays.”

If I had a vote, I would say at least get to NFC Championship and hopefully win, however if they lose like they did against the Rams in playoffs last season he should be OUT! After all many other teams have won without a lot less talent (See Patriots, again) They just paid a boatload of money to the league rushing champ (Zeke) they have Cooper at wideout along with a couple of others that can get you big plays. I think we all expect Dak to also do better with the the best O line in the league especially with Travis Fredrick at center back and Joe Looney more than a serviceable back-up.  And while Witten may not be what he was a few years ago he still better than what we had last season. He also provides the maturity and leadership this young team still may still need.

As for the defense, which was the worst in the league only a few years ago and possibly the worst in NFC history, that is in the past. Now they are considered one of the best in the league and I think all of us expect them to have a banner year. So as has often been said Defense wins championships, this one is good enough to win. With all of this in mind the only thing that can derail this train is the head coach. That said the bullseye is squarely on Garrett, it is now or never, Jerry does not want to wait any longer cause he knows that at 77 the clock is ticking. Do I think this could be the year, I think yes (Pero) they better start fast cause Philly is also loaded. So, as T.O. used to say “Get your popcorn ready” its gonna be interesting and should be a fun ride. Welcome to 2019 season and hopefully into 2020.
